NoLagGippity fingerprints both the official Store package version and the SHA-256 of its bundled backend. Optimizations activate only when both match a tested profile.

Before you install.

Why is the installer 243 MiB?

It includes a self-contained Windows launcher and the exact optimized App Server, so installation is genuinely one click and does not compile or download dependencies.

What happens after an official update?

If the version or backend hash changes, NoLagGippity runs the untouched official backend. Its signed daily channel can then deliver a separately verified matching profile.

Why might SmartScreen warn?

The alpha is not yet Authenticode-signed. Verify the published SHA-256 before running it. A reputable code-signing certificate is required before this can be described as warning-free.

Is this made or endorsed by OpenAI?

No. NoLagGippity is independent software. It requires the official app but does not bundle its proprietary interface or imply sponsorship.

Can I uninstall it cleanly?

Yes. Remove NoLagGippity from Windows Installed apps. The official app, tasks, authentication, and original rollout files remain.

Does the website track me?

No analytics, advertising scripts, accounts, or cookies are included. See the plain-language privacy note.
