No proprietary OpenAI interface is distributed.

NoLagGippity requires and activates the separately installed, signed Microsoft Store app. It never copies or patches its proprietary UI.

NoLagGippity manager

The independent launcher, installer, and website code are released under the MIT License. The installed manager keeps profiles and updates in a separate per-user directory so Microsoft Store updates cannot overwrite it.

Optimized Codex App Server

The backend is built from the Apache-2.0 licensed OpenAI Codex repository, tag rust-v0.144.2, upstream commit a6645b6b8a656360fa16fb7e1c6721d0697d3d6a. The NoLagGippity patch commit is 3f1e625186.

Incremental derived UI-history cache with unused compaction payloads omitted.
Bounded parsed-history LRU to prevent unlimited memory growth.
Lower-volume diagnostic logging and metadata caps used only in derived/indexed state.

The original rollout files remain untouched and authoritative. Download the reproducible source patch and the Apache License 2.0.
